Well, this is it. The Border had their last performance. We started in 2004, released our debut album in 2007, but were not able to stay together in 2008.

We would like to thank everybody who supported us, bought our album and got mental during our live performances. We will carry all sweet memories in our hearts for the rest of our days. (with the extraordinary crowd in de Fendert on top! You're the best !!!!)

Special thanks goes out to everybody who teamed up with The Border for a long or short periode of time. Without you, nothing would have happened at all. Special thanks goes out to Adje Cantato for his producing efforts and spirtual guidance. We will never forget.

I am glad to announce that I will be back with a new album in spring 2009.  It is most likely that some teammembers and friends will join me in this adventure since we've performed some great versions of the new songs in the past. It will probably take a few more months to prepare for rockording but I just can't wait to get the job done. Get yourselves ready for the best EH action and vocal harmonies you have heard in years!!!!

1st August: New single "Dance like Elvis" released on                  Up Magazine Summer Sampler 2008

We are proud to anounce the release of our second single from the debut ablum Summer to Summer, the mashing dance hit DANCE LIKE ELVIS.  The Steady Records management had the possibilty to get  this song  on  the  compilation CD of Up Magazine, the UP Magazine Summer Sampler 2008!!!! Last Friday, the 25^th of April, we had the honor to kickstart the weekend at De Parel in Fijnaart. The days before were a kind of uncertain because of the unexpected cancellation of our fellow musicians of the Exploding Shetland Ponies The reason why is still unclear to us but we were facing a logistic problem because we agreed to play their drum kit and bass amp. But the friendly people of De Parel surprisingly offered to pick up our gear by themselves to fix the transportation issue. This was probably the first and last time a venue arranged a private driver. How lovely!!! 

After setting up and preparation, we had Circus on Earth for starters and the beautiful crowd lined-up in front of the stage to dance away of a week of hard labor. We really got motivated by their welcoming appearance so we decided to let them choose our set list. They even gave the correct answers in our free-cd contest!!! Adding up all the good vibrations made us very relaxed and provided the tightness we have been practicing on. Wheelspin Store and the new song Winning Underdog were performed and the fact that Fingertips was treated with a big cheer from the crowd, made us feel very comfortable.

 This was a gig that will be remembered to be the best so far.
